Congratulations to the DC boys and girls track teams for an excellent start at Bristol BAL Meet held on April 7, 2021. DC competed with Bristol, Jenkintown and Phil-Mont in the first of three regional BAL meets. DC will host the remaining two meets at Interboro HS. Here are some highlights from the afternoon:
- Liza Lee won both the 1600 and 3200 meters.
- Cherith Garner finished second in both the 100 and 200 meters.
- Gabbi Watson won the 800 meters.
- Sandahya Addy won the high jump.
- Evezi Omuyeh won the shot put.
- The girls won the 4 x 100 Relay (Cherith Garner, Brooke VanErden, Elizabeth Matty and Sandahya Addy)
- The girls won the 4 X 400 Relay (Cherith, Brooke, Sandahya and Gabbi Watson)
- Josiah Bronkema won the high jump, long jump and the 100 meters.
- Jude Metricarti was second in the 100 meters
- CJ Simbiri was second in the 200 meters
- The boys won the 4 X 100 relay (Jude Metricarti, Jason Collins, CJ Simbiri and Josiah Bronkema)
